This workshop will focus on front-end web development, specifically html & css. This workshop is intended to reach out to women (and their friends) who are interested in learning front end web development.

Men are welcome to attend as the guest of a woman who wants to learn, and you come together. Total programming novices, system administrators, and folks who attended our previous workshops are all welcome. We'll have different classes separated by experience level.

Each participant needs to bring her own laptop and power supply. In this workshop, we'll build and deploy a personal webpage, first based on a static image and then customize it. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a working knowledge of html and/or css. We'll also offer further resources for those interested in learning more.

If you have git installed and your SSH key configured on your computer, the workshop will begin at 10am.

If you do not, follow the instructions below (only up to configuring git):

If you're unsure, come at 9am and volunteers will make sure you're set up for the workshop.

If you have questions or ideas for us, the best way to get in touch is to send a message to the organizers.
