Workshop Description

The aim of this workshop is to get you acquainted with HTML, CSS, and beginning JavaScript, the building blocks of web sites. You'll create a web page about yourself with the option of deploying it to the web and checking it into version control. This is an Outreach to Women Workshop. It is emphatically queer and trans* friendly. Men are welcome as the guest of a woman.

We're going to be working with the Chrome browser and a text editor program. For text editors, some suggestions are Atom, Sublime (Mac), Komodo Edit, or an editor of your choice.

Optional tools if you're deploying are Git and a GitHub account.
