Attendees

Railsbridge events focus on increasing diversity in tech -- for this particular event, men may attend as the guest of a woman and will be asked to provide their friend's name upon sign-up. Attendees should otherwise identify as a woman, and can bring a guest of any gender.

Workshop Description

This event is a study group and should not to be confused with the full-day Railsbridge workshops. It is a good way for you to dig deeper or expand what you've already worked on and reconnect with other students, teachers, and T/A's. While new students are also welcomed to join, they should be familiar with Railsbridge and have completed Installfest.

Teachers and TA's will be in attendance to support.

{Beginners} are encouraged explore the details of Intro to Rails or Suggestotron curricula and/or select online learning resource to work on together, e.g.:

{Intermediate} are encouraged to build on the Suggestotron or the Job Board curricula and dig into the code to discover how it works

{Advanced} students are encouraged to build upon work they started via Suggestotron and the Job Board, or collaborate with other students on a new project
