Workshop Description

Get together for an amazing day of programming, complete with food, and learn from scratch or polish your skills!

Beginners: Intro to Front End Development Curriculum

Please note this includes a lot of HTML/CSS, meant for students with minimal experience with web development.

Intermediate: Build a simple front-end app using JavaScript and jQuery

For students with some programming experience.

Advanced: Learn to use React

You'll be building the same style app as the intermediate curriculum, but using the popular new JavaScript library React. Meant for students with experience programming in JavaScript.

This is a RailsBridge event, hosted at the illustrious and charming SF campus of Dev Bootcamp. RailsBridge is an organization focused on increasing diversity in the tech industry. The workshop is intended to support women in tech or who are interested in joining the community. Please spread the word and invite female friends and colleagues of yours!

This workshop is intended to reach out to women who are interested in learning JavaScript. Men are welcome to come if you find a woman who wants to learn JavaScript and come together. RailsBridge is emphatically queer and trans* friendly.
