Join us for a day of HTML, CSS and JavaScript learning at Google! By the end of the day, you should be familiar with the concepts that go into building sites for the web, and have built one of your own!
Attendees should identify as a woman, and can bring a guest of any gender. You should be comfortable using a computer, but no programming experience or hardware expertise is required. You should have your own laptop to bring along. Mac, Windows, and Linux machines are welcome.
And if you sign up but don't get the confirmation email, check your spam folder!
We've "sold out" most of our events so far only to have people not show up or cancel at the very last minute. That makes it really hard on the folks on the waitlist who don't get bumped up until the last minute and can't make it and means we can't get everyone in who wants to attend. We work really hard to put these events on and we'd love it if the people who sign up show up, or at least cancel with enough notice that folks on the wait list have enough notice to make it.
You'll need the following things to be able to successfully participate in RailsBridge:
A huge thank you to our sponsor who are giving of both their money and time to make this event free for everybody!
Free parking is available right next to the address, and there should be plenty for everyone.
We'll have breakfast, lunch and snacks, so come with both an appetite for learning and one for food!
