Workshop Info:

RailsBridge is an introduction to programming workshop intended to reach out to women, transgender and non-binary people, and people of color. In this workshop, we'll take participants who are new to coding through the basics of Ruby on Rails development.

Transportation and Parking

The Pivotal office is located about a quarter mile from Union Station, the transit hub of Denver. Participants are highly encouraged to make use of available public transportation options. There are also several paid parking lots, including one directly north of the office on Platte St. and one by REI. If you don't mind a short walk, there's a footbridge crossing I-25 from the Highlands neighborhood, where street parking is free.

Food and Drinks

We provide dinner on Friday night, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday.

Childcare

Children are welcome at the Pivotal office and there is designated private space for mothers to nurse or pump. If you are interested in childcare for this event please get in touch & we can discuss available options.

Afterparty

We'll head around the corner to Avanti to relax and socialize after the event.
