Session Description
Bring your own Ruby or JavaScript project to this "open pairing" event, and find a volunteer mentor (or a peer programmer) to pair with. This session is reaching out to students who are people of color and/or LGBTQ women, trans, and nonbinary people. Students who do not identify as a member of these groups may come as a guest (+1) of an attendee who does.

- 6:30 - 6:45 - Student and volunteer introductions
- 6:45 - 9:20 - Open pairing
- 9:20 - 9:30 - Cleanup, thank-yous, and closing

Learners Guild is located in downtown Oakland, three blocks from the 12th St. BART Station. Street parking is available. The workshop will be held on the garden level downstairs. Wheelchair access to this downstairs space is available via elevator; please confirm access with the organizer
