Workshop Description

This workshop is for C4Q web development fellows.

In this introductory workshop, we'll take you through building a complete web application using Ruby on Rails. By the end of the day, you'll have an application that connects to a database and reads and writes information.

We will use our Advanced curriculum for this workshop, here: http://docs.railsbridgenyc.org/job-board/
Additionally, we anticipate having a few hours following the completion of the Job Board coarse to go over more Advanced topics. We will prepare a list, and will also welcome suggestions from participants.

Install instructions will be sent out in the week leading up to the workshop and should be completed before the workshop, but we'll have volunteers on hand the morning of the workshop to help with any install issues!
