The entrance to 101 N Tryon’s parking deck is located on N Church St., directly behind the building, across from the First Presbyterian Church of Charlotte.
Please take a parking ticket as you enter. Levvel will validate all tickets for registered students.
Elevators from the parking deck let out onto 101 N Tryon’s main lobby. There will be Levvel employees waiting in the lobby on both Friday afternoon and Saturday morning that can then accompany you up to our office.
We're back for another exciting RailsBridge Event!
This event will take you through the process of building a complete web application using Ruby on Rails. By the end of the day, you'll have an application that connects to a database, reads and writes data, and renders HTML in a browser.
Below is an example app made by a participant last year!
This free workshop is intended to reach out to women and people of color who are interested in learning modern Web Development. It is assumed that the attendees have little to no previous programming experience. Note: you must be older than 16 to attend.
We'll meet up Friday to install all of the software you need, and then spend Saturday learning and writing code. If you've never attended a RailsBridge event or used Rails before, please come to the Friday night Installfest so you're ready to start coding on Saturday morning!
