Installfest

6:00pm Friday, May 2
Our event is broken up into 2 days of instruction. Friday night will be the Installfest to make sure that your machine is ready to ride come Saturday. We will make sure Ruby and Rails is installed and your development environment is sufficiently for you to build your first application.

Workshop

11:00am - 7:00pm Saturday, May 3rd
This workshop is intended for anyone who is interested in learning Ruby on Rails.
In this workshop, we'll take you through the steps to build a web application using Ruby on Rails. We'll have different classes depending on by experience level. Total novices can start with an Intro to Programming, while experienced programmers can jump right into Ruby and Rails. By the end of the workshop, you'll have an application on the internet that connects to a database and reads and writes information.

Childcare

We're hoping to provide free childcare onsite but are still figuring out the details. Please let us know asap if you'd like childcare.

Sponsors

Please email [email protected] if you're interested in sponsoring the event.

Food and Drinks

We'll have snacks for the InstallFest and breakfast, lunch and snacks on Saturday, so come with both an appetite for learning and one for food!

Afterparty

We will definitely have an after party, even if we all just decide to go somewhere afterwards. We're still working out the details for this.
