Workshop Description

In this workshop, we'll take you through the basics of functional programming in Scala, a powerful programming language. By the end of the day, you'll have built several doodles using Creative Scala, have a basic understanding of functional programming, and a grasp of Scala fundamentals.

Rather than lecture-lab, this hand-on workshop is designed for self-paced learning, mentors will float and help you with any questions and issues you may have working through the course.

We will also have a short talk after lunch on resources for beginners so you can keep learning even after this workshop!
